Why
Every Detail Matters!
As
an engineer and entrepreneur I've learned that every detail
matters if you want to be successful. Close attention to detail
is a necessary part to completing many tasks and projects.
Whether you are cleaning your kitchen at home or meeting with
a client at work, the ability to concentrate on important
details is essential for achieving success and happiness in
life.
The
key to success in every aspect of our lives is doing little
things correctly, all the time and every time. Attention
to detail is a discipline that everybody can develop in the
same way as we exercise our muscles. As a result, we can learn
to stay focused on every detail of the task and explore the
reasons behind the cause and effect of our actions.
Every
action we take is an opportunity to exercise our brain and
develop attention to detail. The brain functions much like
a muscle. When a person exercises a muscle, the muscle becomes
stronger and toned. Just like a muscle gets stronger with
a workout, when we pay attention to detail our brain becomes
more efficient and creative.
It
takes hundreds of small, seemingly insignificant details repeated
perfectly day in and day out to create outstanding results.
So, everything counts, from how you sleep to what you eat,
what you drink and how you think. Everything you do is either
moving you closer to or farther away from becoming successful
in life.
Don't
wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect.
There will always be challenges, obstacles and unpleasant
conditions. However, attention to detail may translate into
better work habits and opportunities. It might result in a
promotion at work; relationships with family and friends may
even improve. Do not expect to run a four minute mile, until
you have trained and conditioned to run a four minute mile.
Everyone fails to achieve some goal, but if we develop attention
to detail, we can learn from our mistakes and we will be more
likely to succeed in the future.
Take
The Core Challenge and get started today. You will learn to
use checklists and to keep track of important details. You
will develop the habit to take action following the lists
of items that must be completed before you can proceed to
the next step. With each step you take during The Core Challenge,
you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more self-confident
and more and more successful.
The
wonderful experience during the 100 days of The Core Challenge
is that you will get respect from others that will be willing
to help you achieve your personal goals.
